Portfolio Slideshows
Marty’s usual photographic style is to produce a variety of images to represent a specific concert or to give a visual sense of the atmosphere of a live concert environment. As such, each of the slideshows in the concert Archive is intended to be viewed in its entirety as a sequence of images. Marty doesn’t go to a concert specifically looking to shoot that one killer iconic image.
However, over the past few years he has accumulated shots here and there which can stand out on their own, as representative of a band or artist, or which tell a story, or which even work as an artistic image in its own right.

A few weeks ago, marty submitted a panel of 20 images from this selection and was awarded a Licenciate in the Society of International Media and Press Photographers (LSIMPP). You can see the panel submitted here…
Marty also carries out more formal photoshoots for bands and artists to produce specific images for album covers, programmes, posters and other promotional material. Here’s another slideshow containing a selection of some of these images…..
Marty’s Rock Photoshoot Portfolio
Marty is an accomplished concert photographer with images published in rock and music magazines such as Classic Rock, Guitar Player, Fireworks and Burnn etc. He also has images published all over the internet, on band websites, advertising, Myspace and Facebook, online magazines such a MidlandsRocks, and in band publicity material such as posters, programmes and printed advertisements. Marty has provided live images for merchandising and cover artwork for dozens of DVDs and CDs by artists such as JSS, Thunder, Danny Vaughn, Steve Augeri, Joe Bonamassa, FM, Mitch Malloy, Voodoo Six, The Illegal Eagles, The Ultimate Eagles, The Australian Pink Floyd, among others, He is currently working with The Union, providing all their official photography.
As a long time fan of rock music and a veteran of many hundreds of concerts, Marty likes good music and appreciates the importance of good visuals. He offers photography based around both live action and commercial publicity shots, suitable for websites, posters, flyers, press articles… or pictures to hang on your wall. He likes to build relationships with the bands he photographs, to provide images both they and he will be proud to display.
